English learning media in elementary schools plays an important role in supporting the English language teaching process for young learners. This research aimed to develop augmented reality-based flashcards for vocabulary learning for fifth-grade students at SDN 010 Tarakan. This was a research and development study using the 4D model, consisting of the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The research instruments used included student needs questionnaires, interview guides for teachers, expert validation questionnaires for content and media, media usability questionnaires, and student response questionnaires. The results of the needs analysis questionnaire and interviews with teachers indicated that vocabulary learning media were highly needed by students in their English language learning. The designed product consisted of flashcards featuring vocabulary related to parts of the body, hobbies, and things in school, in accordance with the students' needs. The developed media were then validated in terms of content and media before being pilot-tested on 12 fifth-grade students at SDN 010 Tarakan. The research results revealed that the level of suitability and practicality of the media, based on the following assessments, were as follows: 1) validation by a media expert yielded a score of 93.7%, classified as “highly applicable”; 2) validation by a content expert yielded a score of 96.3%, classified as “highly applicable”; 3) 97.1% of English language teaching practitioners rated the material as “highly practical.” Student responses to this learning material following the pilot test were positive, with a score of 91% of the total possible score. Accordingly, it can be concluded that the development of augmented reality-based flashcard learning materials for fifth-grade students at SDN 010 Tarakan was deemed highly feasible and highly practical for use. PROFILE OF WHOLE NUMBER CONCEPTUAL UNDERSTANDING AMONG GRADE IV A STUDENTS AT SD NEGERI 015 TARAKAN Abstract Conceptual understanding of whole numbers is a fundamental skill that elementary school students must develop, as it serves as the foundation for learning more advanced mathematical concepts. Preliminary observations conducted in Grade IV A at SD Negeri 015 Tarakan revealed that several students continued to experience difficulties in understanding whole number concepts. This study aimed to describe the profile of students' conceptual understanding of whole numbers based on four indicators: restating mathematical concepts, representing concepts in various mathematical forms, selecting and applying appropriate procedures or operations, and applying concepts to problem-solving situations. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, involving six students selected through purposive sampling, with two participants representing each achievement category (high, moderate, and low). Data were collected through written tests and interviews, and were then analyzed using an interactive analysis model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that students in the high-achievement category demonstrated mastery of most indicators of conceptual understanding, although minor computational inaccuracies were still evident. Students in the moderate-achievement category showed satisfactory conceptual understanding but lacked consistency in representing concepts through multiple mathematical representations and applying them to more complex problem-solving tasks. Meanwhile, students in the low-achievement category encountered substantial difficulties in understanding concepts, selecting appropriate solution procedures, and applying conceptual knowledge to solve mathematical problems. Overall, the findings indicate that students' conceptual understanding of whole numbers remains uneven, particularly regarding mathematical representation and problem-solving abilities. These results highlight the need for instructional practices that emphasize conceptual understanding through the use of diverse mathematical representations and contextualized problem-solving activities.

This study was motivated by the lack of engaging learning media in Pancasila Education lessons on rights and responsibilities for fourth-grade elementary school students. The lecture method, which is still frequently used, results in students being less actively engaged, quickly becoming bored, and having difficulty understanding the difference between rights and responsibilities. Additionally, the use of learning media in the classroom is still limited to simple PowerPoint presentations. The objectives of this study were to determine the level of suitability through validation by subject matter experts, media experts, language experts, and practitioners, and to assess students' responses to the appeal of the quartet card learning media. This study employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4D model, which includes the steps of definition, design, development, and dissemination. Due to time constraints, this study was limited to the development stage. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The results showed that the quartet card learning media achieved a feasibility rate of 94% among subject matter experts, media experts, and language experts, and 100% among practitioners, meeting the "highly feasible" criterion. Student responses in the limited pilot test yielded a rate of 95.5%, and in the field test, 93%, both meeting the "highly engaging" criterion.

This study motivated by the lack of variety in the use of learning media for the IPAS subject in Grade 4 at MI Al Fawaid Tarakan, which has resulted in low student interest and poor learning outcomes. Therefore, engaging and user-friendly learning media are needed to enhance student engagement in the learning process. This study aims to determine the feasibility of and student' responses to flash card learning media in IPAS instruction for fourth-grade students at MI Al - Fawaid Tarakan. This study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, expert validation, and student response questionnaires. A limited pilot test was conducted with 6 students, while the flash card learning media achieved an average feasibility percentage of 86,89% categorized as "highly feasible", The students' responses during the field trial showed an average score of 99,15% which was categorized as "highly suitable" Thus, the flash card learning media i suitable and highly engaging for use in IPAS instruction for fourth-grade students at MI AL-Fawaid Tarakan.
