Learning interest is an important internal factor that can enhance students' scientific literacy skills by fostering active engagement, curiosity, and perseverance throughout the learning process. This study aimed to examine the relationship between learning interest and scientific literacy skills and to determine the extent to which learning interest contributed to the scientific literacy skills of junior high school students. A quantitative approach with a correlational research design was employed. The study involved 127 students from SMP Negeri 8 Tarakan, selected using simple random sampling. Learning interest was measured using indicators of enjoyment, attention, interest, and engagement, while scientific literacy skills were assessed through a scientific literacy test focusing on the scientific competency dimension. The results show that the mean score for learning interest was 67, indicating a high level of learning interest among students, whereas the mean score for scientific literacy skills was 41 70. Pearson's correlation analysis produced a significance value of 0.695 (p>0.05) and a correlation coefficient of 0.035, indicating a very weak relationship between the two variables. Furthermore, linear regression analysis yielded a coefficient of determination (R) of 0.001 (0.1%), indicating that learning interest accounted for only 0.1% of the variance in students' scientific literacy skills. These findings imply that learning interest is not a significant predictor of scientific literacy skills among the participants. Therefore, it can be concluded that no statistically significant relationship exists between learning interest and the scientific literacy skills of junior high school students in this study.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar dan hasil belajar matematika siswa melalui model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) siswa kelas IX-B SMP Negeri 5 Tanjung Selor. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20 Maret 2023 – 03 April 2023 di SMP Negeri 5 Tanjung Selor. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi minat belajar, angket minat belajar siswa dan tes hasil belajar matematika siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan, yaitu analisis data aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, minat belajar siswa, dan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, yang terdiri dari 2 kali pertemuan pada setiap siklus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 54% siswa berada pada kategori minimal cukup dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 92% siswa berada pada pada minimal kategori sangat baik. Sedangkan hasil belajar matematika siswa pada siklus I sebesar 38% siswa berada pada minimal kategori cukup dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 71% siswa berada pada minimal kategori baik. Berdasarakan penelitian diatas, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dapat meningkatkan minat belajar dan hasil belajar matematika siswa pada kelas IX-B SMP Negeri 5 Tanjung Selor. This research aims to improve students' interest in learning and learning outcomes in mathematics through the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model for students in class IX-B SMP Negeri 5 Tanjung Selor. This type of research was Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research was conducted on 20 March to 3 April 2023 at SMP Negeri 5 Tanjung Selor. Data collection techniques were used to learn observation sheets, questionnaires, and mathematics learning outcomes tests. Data analysis techniques included teacher and student activity and students' interest and mathematics learning outcomes. This research was conducted in two cycles, which consisted of two meetings for each cycle. The results showed that student's interest in learning in the first cycle I, 54% of students in the minimum standard good category, and in the second cycle II, it increased to 92% of students in the minimum very good category. Meanwhile, students' mathematics learning outcomes in cycle I were 38%, and in cycle II, it increased to 71% of students in the minimum good category. Based on the research result, it can be revealed that using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model can increase students' interest in learning and mathematics learning outcomes in class IX-B SMP Negeri 5 Tanjung Selor.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media komik digital berbasis platform instagram terhadap minat dan hasil belajar IPA siswa di SMP Negeri 4 Tarakan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian quasi eksperimen. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan soal pretest-posttest dan angket. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII dengan penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik porposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan hasil presentase minat belajar pada kelas eksperimen, pada indikator perasaan senang 89%, keterlibatan 79%, ketertarikan 83%, perhatian 88 % dan kelas kontrol pada indikator perasaan senang 55%, keterlibatan 61%, ketertarikan 59%, perhatian 59%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data yang dilakukan menunjukan terdapat perbedaan minat belajar dengan presentase rata-rata kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol yaitu sebesar 84% dan kelas kontrol 63%. Hasil penelitian hasil belajar siswa menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol hal ini dibuktikan dari nilai thitung > ttabel. Nilai thitung sebesar 12,329 pada taraf signifikansi 0,05, dan df 60 diperoleh nilai ttabel sebesar 2,000. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari pada kelas kontrol The study aims to determine the effect of digital comic intagram media on students’ learning interest and science learning achievement of eight graders at SMP Negeri 4 Tarakan. This research was quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research method. Research data collection used pretest-posttest and questionnaires. Purposive sampling was aplplied to take the research sampel, and the sampel was eighth graders. The research result showed thet the experimental class possessed a learning interest mean score of 45% higher rhan the control class, where the control class achieved 58.5%. feeling happy got 89% for experimental and 55% for control. The involment aspect was 30% lower than the experimental with 79%. The interest aspect still was led by experimental at 83%, and control only gained 59%. Paying attention aspect was driven by experimental about 49% where the control was only at 59%. Furthermore, the learning achievement results stated that the experimental class was better than the control class, where the test value was 12,329 at a significance level of 0.05, and df 60 is a ttable value of 2.000. this reserch result claimed that digital comic Instagram media totally influenced the studets’ learning interest and achievement in scince class.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh minat belajar berbasis pembelajaran daring terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Populasi pada penelitian ini merupakan siswa SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan kelas VIII. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuisoner dan dokumen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan software SPSS 24.0 for windows untuk menganalisis data hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada umumnya kategori minat belajar berbasis pembelajaran daring siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan lebih dominan pada kategori cukup dengan tingkat persentase 69,11%. Hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan lebih dominan kearah kategori cukup dengan persentase 40,65%. Minat belajar berbasis pembelajaran daring berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan dengan persamaan regresi sederhana menunjukkan Y ̂=80,234-0,238X. Hasil analisis koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar berbasis pembelajaran daring memberikan kontribusi sebesar 1,8% terhadap hasil belajar matematika. This research aims at figuring out the influence of online-based learning interest on mathematical learning achievement of Grade VIII student of SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan. This quantitative research used a survey method. The research samples were obtained using a stratified random sampling. Questionnaire and documentation were also employed to collect the data. The research data were then analyzed using the software off SPSS 24.0 for windows. The research result show that the online-based learning interest on learning achievment of Grade VIII student of SMP Negeri 7 Tarakanwas generally more dominant at fair category with the percentage level of 69.11%. The mathematical learning achievement of Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan was more dominant leading to fair category with the percentage level of 40.65%. the online-based learning interest influenced the mathematical learning achievement of Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan as proven by the simple regression equation result showing that Y ̂=80,234-0,238X. The determination coefficient analysis result show that online-based learning interest had the contribution of 1.8% on mathematical learning results.

This study aimed at investigating a correlation between interest in learning English and English achievement of tenth graders at SMAK Frater Don Bosco Tarakan. This was a quantitative research with correlational design. The population was the tenth grade students at SMAK Frater Don Bosco Tarakan. Using simple random sampling technique, 93 of 121 students of classes X IPA, X IPS-A, X IPS-B and X IPS-C were taken as study sample. Data was collected using a questionnaire, while English achievement data was collected using the school documents of English achievement scores from the report cards in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The data was statistically analyzed using Pearson Product Moment correlation with the help of SPSS version 24.0. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between interest in learning English and English achievement of tenth graders at SMAK Frater Don Bosco Tarakan as indicated by the significance value of 0.013 0.05 and the calculated r value was greater than the critical r value (0.256 > 0.203).
