The objective of this research was to describe the perception of the first-grade students of English learning through flipped classroom model at SMPIT Ulul Albab Tarakan. This research employed mixed-methods research. The selected school was SMPIT Ulul Albab Tarakan and the main subject of this research was the first-grade students of Al-Qalam class where they had experiences using the Flipped Classroom Model in English learning. The data were collected using a questionnaire, classroom observation, interview and documentation. The results showed that the percentage of each indicator of the questionnaire fell into positive perception, namely: emancipatory activities (90%), participatory activities (83%), information structure and design activities (83%), and qualia (75%). This indicated that the students understood the material presented through Google Classroom, accessed material easily, got immersed in varied learning, got more time to practice in class, and played an active role in learning. Furthermore, the had no difficulties in learning English through the flipped classroom learning model. It could be seen that they dominantly responded that it was easier to understand the material and interact with other students and the teacher in learning.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika secara online di masa pandemi covid-19 pada siswa kelas IX SMPN 5 Tarakan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen angket, dan teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif persentase. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas IX pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2021/2022 di SMPN 5 Tarakan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas IX SMPN 5 Tarakan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 90 siswa yang diambil menggunakan teknik klaster sampling / cluster sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian secara keseluruhan tentang persepsi siswa kelas IX terhadap pembelajaran matematika secara online di masa pandemi Covid-19 di SMPN 5 Tarakan tahun 2022 masuk dalam kategori cukup baik, dengan pertimbangan frekuensi pada faktor internal terbanyak terletak pada kategori cukup baik dengan jumlah 32 siswa atau 35,56 %, dan frekuensi pada faktor eksternal terbanyak terletak pada kategori cukup baik dengan jumlah 29 siswa atau 32,22 %. This study aimed to determine perceptions of ninth-grade SMPN 5 Tarakan students towards learning math online during the covid-19 pandemic. This study used a survey method for a quantitative descriptive investigation. In this study, data were gathered through the use of a questionnaire, and percentage descriptive statistics were employed in the data analysis. This study was conducted among grade IX students at SMPN 5 Tarakan during the odd semester of the 2021-2022 academic year. The population in this study was grade IX students of SMPN 5 Tarakan. The sample in this study amounted to 90 students who were taken using a cluster sampling technique. The results of the overall perception survey, which included 32 students, or 35.56% of the total, showed that the frequency of internal factors was mostly in the fairly good category, while the highest frequency of external factors was found in the good enough category, which included 29 students, or 32.22% of the total.

This study aims to understand people’s perception of Efforts to Reduce Plastic Waste in the City of Tarakan. This research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. Data collection used was by interview, questionnaire and documentation. The type of data used in this study are primary data obtained from filling out questionnaires by the people of Tarakan City as many as 100 informants as respondents in the study. Researchers used a Likert scale questionnaire. The results of this study note that the Tarakan City community's perception of efforts to reduce plastic waste by using 3 research indicators, namely Reduction of the use of plastic bags, obtained an average of 78.28 results and is in the good category. Guidance and supervision, obtained an average of 82.26 results and are in the very good category. Community participation, the average results obtained 83.13 and are in the very good category. Thus the public perception of the efforts to reduce plastic waste in Tarakan City as a whole obtained a likert score of 80.69 and is in the good category.
