Pengaruh Pemberian Tepung Azolla (Azolla sp) dan Pakan Komersil FF999 Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ikan Lele Sangkuriang (Clarias gariepinus)
Abstract This study aimed to evaluate the effect of Azolla flour (Azolla sp.) and commercial feed FF999 on the growth of Sangkuriang catfish (Clarias gariepinus). The study was conducted for 30 days using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three treatments and seven replications. The treatments tested included: A (100% commercial feed FF999), B (100% Azolla flour), and C (a combination of 50% commercial feed + 50% Azolla flour). The parameters observed included absolute weight gain, absolute length gain, survival rate (SR), feed conversion ratio (FCR), and water quality (temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and ammonia). The results showed that treatment C (a combination of 50% commercial feed and 50% Azolla flour) produced the highest weight gain (0.257 g) and the best length gain (1.28 cm), with the highest survival rate (86%). Treatment B (100% Azolla flour) showed the lowest FCR (1.14) but also had the lowest survival rate (43%). Water quality throughout the study remained within the appropriate range for catfish cultivation, despite fluctuations in ammonia levels. The conclusion of this study is that the combination of 50% Azolla flour and 50% commercial feed FF999 is the most effective feed formulation in supporting the growth and survival of Sangkuriang catfish. These results provide a more economical and sustainable feed alternative for fish farmers.
