STUDI KAPASITAS TAMPUNGAN PADA DAERAH KANAL PASAR TENGUYUN KOTA TARAKAN
A STUDY OF TAMPUNG CAPACITY IN THE TENGUYUN CANAL MARKET AREA OF TARAKAN CITY (Case study: Tenguyun Market, Pamusian City of Tarakan) ABSTRACT Tarakan City is a city in North Kalimantan Province, Indonesia and is also the largest city in North Kalimantan. Tenguyun Market is a traditional market in Tarakan City which has a drainage channel which was conducted research to determine the capacity of the drainage channel. In this study, the data required is the maximum daily rainfall data from the Meteorological, Climatological and Geophysical Agency of Tarakan City. Rainfall data were tested using the Smirno - Kolmogrov test and then analyzed using the Log Normal distribution method. Rainfall data is then applied in hourly rainfall intensity using the mononobe method. Rainfall intensity is useful for calculating the discharge plan. Based on the research results, the drainage channel in Tenguyun Market, Pamusian City of Tarakan is able to accommodate the entire volume of water during the rain that occurs, with the calculation result that the average existing channel ( ) is 77.688 with an average planned discharge ( ) is 49.152 and ( Qd ) is 0.5657 .
