STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN USAHA BUDIDAYA LEBAH MADU KELULUT TRIGONA SP MILIK PAK HERMAN
Tanjung Palas Tengah Village, especially on RT 06 area, is very potential and suitable as a location for cultivating Trigona Sp honey bees because it has an area of 1,755 75 km2 and most of it still has a lot of protected forest. It means that the source of Trigona Sp bee feed is very supportive. The objectives of this study were to investigate (1) the income of Pak Herman's honey bee cultivation business, (2) the internal and external factors of Pak Herman's Kelulut honey bee cultivation business, and (3) the development strategy of Pak Herman's honey bee cultivation business. The sample was determined using purposive sampling technique. The key informant consisted of the Kelulut honey bee cultivation business owner who was Pak Herman and the second party that was the consumer. Data were collected using interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The collected data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive, IFAS and EFAS matrices, SWOT diagrams, and SWOT matrices. The results of the SWOT analysis showed that the position of this business was in quadrant 3 which indicated a weak business but very likely The strategic recommendation given was to change the current strategy because it cannot capture existing opportunities as well as improve business work and minimize internal problems in order to seize better market opportunities
