Abstrak
Watermelon (Citrullus vulgaris) is indonesia's most popular fruits. As a result, in order to increase the production of these plants, it is important to create culture technologies. Increased production is essential not only in terms of quantity, but also in terms of producing high-quality fruit. Nitrogen (N), phosporus (P), and potassium (K) fertilizers, as well as the use of Growth Regulators (ZPT), can be used to increase watermelon yields. The hormone gibberellins is one of the most commonly used growth regulators. This study took place on the grounds of the University of Borneo Tarakan's Faculty of Agriculture from February to December 2021. The study used a factorial randomized block design (RAK) with two treatment factors: NPK fertilizer with four levels of N0 ( no treatment), N1 (1,5 grams/plant), N2 (3 grams/plant), N3 (5 grams/plant) and gibberellins with four levels of G0 (no treatment), G1 (100 ppm), G2 (200 ppm), and G3 ( 300 ppm). The results of this study showed that the application of NPK fertilizer had no significant effect on the growth characteristics of 2 WAP, but had a substantial effect on 3 WAP and 4 WAP. The use of NPK fertilizer resulted in a considerable difference in the production metrics. Gibberellin administration had no discernible influence on growth or output measures. Growth and production characteristic were unaffected by the combination of the two treatments.
