Abstrak
The study of the comparative analysis of seaweed growth (Kappaphycus alvarezii) with brown and green varieties has been conducted in Tanjung Batu of Tarakan City and at the water quality laboratory of Fishery Faculty and Marine Science, University of Borneo Tarakan. This study was conducted from 1 to 30 July 2021). Absolute growth analysis was measured using the formula g=wt- w0.) The results showed that the highest complete growth in brown varieties with a weight of 49.85 grams is followed by a green variety of 24.53 grams. The t-test indicated that the p- value 1000>0.05. This shows a relationship between different sources of seed = origin and the yield of grass at the Tanjung Batu location. This value indicated that the highest growth occurs in brown and green varieties that experience delayed growth.
