STUDI EVALUASI DIMENSI SALURAN PADA JALAN SERANAI III JUATA PERMAI KOTA TARAKAN
Abstract Drainage channels are an important component of the road infrastructure system that properly drains stormwater runoff to avoid flooding and road damage. The drainage system of Juata Permai is a rainwater runoff sewer. The type of channel employed is an open channel with multiple open channels of tiny dimensions. The interceptor channel connects directly to the outer or collector channel, eventually leading to the Juata Permai River in North Tarakan District, Tarakan City, particularly the Juata Permai. The calculation uses a return period of 5 years, using the log person type III approach in m³/second. Based on the findings of the Evaluation Study of Drainage Channel Dimensions on Jalan Seranai III Juata Permai Tarakan, the authors can make the following conclusions: Flood discharge for various return periods of 2, 5, 10, 25, and 50 years is: 0.01618 m³/second, 0.01805 m³/second, 0.01977 m³/second, 0.02083 m³/second, and 0.02142 m³/second. The drainage channel dimensions from the calculation of the 5 years are as follows: channel height (H) = 1.3 m, channel width (B) = 1.33 m.
