STRUKTUR KOMUNITAS MAKROBENTOS PADA ZONA Rhizophora sp DI PULAU TIBI KEBUPATEN BULUNGAN KALIMANTAN UTARA

Penelitian ini mengkaji struktur komunitas makrobentos pada zona Rhizophora sp. di Pulau Tibi, Kabupaten Bulungan, Kalimantan Utara, yang mengalami degradasi akibat konversi lahan tambak. Kehilangan mangrove akibat tambak mengancam perlindungan pesisir dari erosi/badai serta biodiversitas makrobentos sebagai pakan/habitat organisme laut. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis Indeks Nilai Penting (INP), struktur komunitas melalui indeks Shannon-Wiener, kekayaan spesies (Menhinick), Indeks keseragaman , Indeks dominansi, serta korelasi dengan parameter kualitas air (suhu, salinitas, pH, DO). Metode deskriptif kuantitatif diterapkan dengan pengambilan sampel di zona Rhizophora sp. menggunakan plot 1×1 m, identifikasi taksonomi, dan perhitungan indeks ekologi standar. Hasil menunjukkan 8 spesies makrobentos dengan Telescopium sp. dominan (INP 115% sedang), H’= 0,719 (rendah), R= 0,816 (rendah), E = 0,796 (stabil), dan C = 0,287 (rendah), dengan fluktuasi air (suhu 29,3-31,4 °C, DO 6-8 mg/L, Ph 7-8,5, Salinitas 16-20). Secara keseluruhan, komunitas makrobentos di zona Rhizophora sp. Pulau Tibi berada dalam kondisi stabil namun sangat rentan terhadap tekanan lingkungan akibat limbah aktivitas tambak dan dinamika muara. Penelitian ini memberikan data baseline spesifik yang krusial untuk inventarisasi hayati serta acuan perencanaan program konservasi dan rehabilitasi mangrove regional.

Macrozoobentos are communities whose vegetation lives at the bottom of the waters associated with mangrove plants. Mangroves found at the research site are Avicennia sp, Soneratia sp, Nypa, Bruguiera sp, dan Rhizophora sp. This study aims to find out the types of macrozoobentos and find out how much macrozoobentos there are in the mangrove area in Binalatung Village, Tarakan City. This study was conducted from April to May 2021 when the sea water receded. Sampling is carried out systematically set 5 (five) plots measuring 10 meters × 10 meters with random sampling of macrozoobentos as much as five points. The results showed of the study obtained 34 types of macrozoobentos from 5 classes, namely the Gastropoda class as many as 20 types, Bivalvia 9 types Polychaeta 2 types, Malacotraca 2 types and Sipunculidea 1 type of of the five classes are only gastropod classes that have a high abundance of types and the total number of individuals from the four locatios is 180 individuals. The diversity index value at each location ranges from 1.331 (low diversity) to 0.129 ( diversity is very low). The uniformity index value ranges from 0.896 to 0.128 (Low uniformity). The value of the dominance index ranges from 0.002 (no family dominates) to 0.488 (there is a dominant family)
