Validasi Spesies Ikan Seluang Parang (Nematabramis everetti) menggunakan marka Gen COI di Perairan Umum Kabupaten Bulungan
This research on the validation of the species for seluang parang fish used COI gene markers. Sampling was carried out in Sekatak Bengara village, as well as morphologigal identification at the Fisheries Biology Laboratory of FPIK-UBT and molecular identification at Aquatic Molecular Biology of FPIK-IPB. Molecular identification began with DNA isolation process using a commercial Gene Aid Kit, the result pure DNA was amplified using universal COI primers and sequenced. The results of molecular identification showed a close relationship between sample in GenBank, namely Nematabramis everetti, which was found in the waters of Sabah, Malaysia with a genetic distance of 0,024.
