PENGEMBANGAN KARTU INTERAKTIF (MEKAR) DENGAN LAGU DAERAH SEBAGAI MEDIA KARAKTER POSITIF SISWA SMP NEGERI 10 TARAKAN
This study was motivated by the need to strengthen positive character among students at SMP Negeri 10 Tarakan, particularly in the aspects of honesty, independence, pol politeness, social nobility, thinking and intellectual intelligence, and logical thinking. However, classical and group guidance services have not been adequately supported by engaging instructional media, resulting in suboptimal student participation. This study aimed to develop Interactive Cards (MEKAR), incorporating local songs as a medium to support guidance services and foster students' positive character. A Research and Development (R&D) approach was employed using the Borg and Gall model, which was simplified into five stages: potential and problem identification, information gathering, product design, design validation, and design improvement. Data were collected using validation sheets completed by material, media, and language experts. The results showed that the Interactive Cards (MEKAR) media was developed in the form of attractively designed question cards and reflective challenges. The validation results showed a feasibility score of 86% from media experts, categorized as "Very Feasible", 72% from material experts, categorized as "Feasible", and 75% from language experts, categorized as "Feasible." Based on these validation results, the developed MEKAR media met the feasibility criteria for use in both classical and group guidance services to support the development of students' positive character
