Membina Penguasaan Kosakata Melalui Buku Teks Audio pada Siswa Kelas Tujuh SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan
Vocabulary is one of the most critical parts of a language. For students, when vocabulary is not mastered correctly, it will impact mastering skills in English. However, students still need to be more concerned about their vocabulary mastery. This research aimed to determine whether there is a difference between students taught using audio textbooks as learning media and those taught using conventional media in improving vocabulary mastery of seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan. The research showed a significant difference between students taught using audio textbooks and conventional ones in improving their vocabulary mastery. Therefore, using audio textbooks could help students foster their vocabulary mastery. To create more innovative teaching, teachers at SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan and other schools consider using various technological media, including audio textbooks, to aid vocabulary learning.
