ANALISIS KEUNTUNGAN HASIL TANGKAPAN JARING INSANG DI KECAMATAN TARAKN TENGAH KOTA TARAKAN KALIMANTAN UTARA
ABSTRACT Tarakan City is one of the areas in North Kalimantan whose fishery products can be said to be quite large, especially in North Kalimantan. This study aims to determine the benefits of gill net fishermen catches in Tarakan City, especially in Central Tarakan sub-district. Data retrieval was used by means of direct interviews with fishermen in the middle Tarakan sub-district, precisely at a beach-covered location with 7 interviews in a period of 3.5 months. The research I did calculates various kinds of costs, starting from fixed costs, variable costs, and maintenance costs, then calculate the profits of all fishermen. This is very important for fishermen in the middle Tarakan sub-district who are in fishing settlements in a beach-side location where the local people there on average have jobs as fishermen, one of which is fishermen who use gill nets as their fishing gear, this work is also able to help their economy in carrying out their daily lives in order to survive.
