ANALISIS KUALITAS AIR SUMUR GALI DAN BOR DI KAMPUNG BUGIS KOTA TARAKAN
WATER QUALITY ANALYSIS OF DIG AND DRILL WELLS IN BUGIS VILLAGE, TARAKAN CITY Abstract Water plays an important role to meet human needs such as drinking, cooking, washing, and so on, so it must meet the requirements stipulated in the regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 32 of 2017 concerning Environmental Health Quality Standards and Water Health Requirements for sanitation hygiene purposes. This study aims to determine the value of the physical, chemical and biological parameters of dug and drilled well water in Karang Anyar Village, Bugis Village, Tarakan City. The research method used in this study is an analytical observational study using a descriptive approach, namely to describe the value of the physical, chemical, and biological parameters found in dug well water and drilled wells. The sample in this study was determined by purposive sampling with four stations. The first and second stations are dug well water, stations three and four are drilled well water. The results showed that the construction of 4 water wells, namely at station 1 and station 2 which were dug wells and stations 3 and 4 were drilled wells, met the requirements for sanitation hygiene purposes based on the Minister of Health Regulation No. 32 of 2017, when viewed from the physical and chemical parameters, namely temperature 28 -30 C, turbidity 01.3-37.2 NTU, TDS 37-106, color 5-5- TCU, pH 3.55-6.18, nitrate 0.07-1.13 mg/L, nitrite 0.07-0.13, Fe 0.003 total hardness 0.16-0.40 while for drinking water purposes it does not meet the requirements because the number of Escherichia coli bacteria exceeds the water quality standard based on biological parameters with a value of 23-50.
