This research aimed to analyze the types of predatory insects on rice plants (Oryza sativa) in the rice fields of Malinau Kota Village and their implementation in biology learning for class X secondary school. The method used in this research was descriptive-exploratory with a qualitative approach. Sampling was taken using the roaming method using a swing net and then identified using the insect determination key book. In this study, six species of predatory insects were found. such as Gerris argentatus, Ishnura prognata, Orthetum sabina Drury, Macrodiplax cora, Micraspis crocea, and Tenodera aridifolia. Implementation of research results on predatory insects was in Learning Objective Flow 10.6., identifying the level of biodiversity by presenting reports from observations in the surrounding environment and as a teaching module for the classification of living things as well
