Abstrak
ABSTRACK Election of Regional Heads (Pilkada) is a real manifestation of democracy and is a means for the people to declare sovereignty. People's sovereignty can be realized in the Pilkada process to determine who should run the government of a region. This research is to find out the mechanism for resolving disputes on voting results To find out how the KPU and Bawaslu as organizers and supervisors are trying to resolve disputes over voting results. This research was conducted using empirical research. Empirical research is (Field Research) or field research, namely research whose object is about symptoms, events and phenomena that occur in society, institutions or countries that are non-library in nature by looking at phenomena that exist in society in Nunukan Regency. This research uses three data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and library research. The results of the research show that the resolution of disputes over regional election voting results by Bawaslu and the KPU is a case study of the 2020 regional elections in Nunukan Regency. Based on the facts and realities that occurred in the field. In 2020, Nunukan Regency, North Kalimantan also participated in carrying out simultaneous regional elections, namely the election of the Regent and Deputy Regent. thus giving rise to a dispute over voting results between candidate 1 and candidate number serial number, which is an indication that there are 124 polling stations in a number of electoral districts in Nunukan Regency with additional voters who are not registered as DPTB totaling 1671 votes.
