Abstrak
This study aims to analyze the cultural values of anggulung in guidance and counseling services. The type of research was descriptive which was qualitative in nature and aimed to obtain the information about the cultural values of anggulung. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documention. The analysis result of anggulung cultural values included (1) readliness in household which was symbolized by the two couples together drinking water of compassion. (2) strength which was symbolized by the water sprinkled over the heads of couples like a river that continues to flow and has no end. (3) complementing each other in joy and sorrow which was symbolized by the couples eating rice with water without salt. (4) one heart in the family which was symbolized by mangkulau (old plate). The implementation of anggulung cultural values in guidance and counseling services was in the family counseling guidance for high school students and in this study, it was described in the form of basic guidance and counseling services.
