Abstrak
Morpho-meristic characteristics of layur fish (Superfamili Trihiuroidea) using trawl fishing gear in marine waters is very rarely done because fatherly is known for the length and weight of fish caught using trawling. The purpose of the research was to know the morphology of species of layur fish (Superfamili Trihiuroidea) caught in trawl fisheries in marine waters, describe the size and weight distribution of laying fish, analyze and explain the long fish weight relationship. This research was conducted from December 2018 to March 2019. The method of taking data was purposive random sampling. Data analysis included fish identification, long frequency distribution, and long weight relationship. Analysis of fish identification takes reference from the 1993 FAO book, fish species identified in Juata Laut of the Kota Tarakan, Lepturacanthus savala. The result showed distribution of long and heavy frequencies shows that during the study layur fish were caught with a length range of 32.1-37.3 cm and a weight ranging from 15.9-22.7. The relationship between the length of the first week is negative allometric with a value of b = 1.947 and the second week is negative allometric with a value of b = 2.3262 while the relationship of the length of the third week is a positive allometric with a value of b = 3.1028.
