STRATEGIES USED BY ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHERS IN TEACHING VOCABULARY AT EIGHTH GRADE OF SMPN 4 TARAKAN.

This study aims to find out the teaching strategies used by English language teachers in teaching English vocabulary at SMPN Tarakan. The research method used in this research was a qualitative method. The setting of this research was SMPN Tarakan. The subject of this research was an English teacher who teaches eighth grade. Data was collected through observation checklist and interview. Based on the data analysis, the study found several teaching strategies delivered in teaching English vocabulary, namely Game (Word Train) and Demonstration. The conclusion of this study was that there were some learning strategies used by teacher in teaching vocabulary that are very useful for teachers when teaching, because with these strategies teachers can know the student’s characteristics well. It is also suggested that English teachers should be more creative, develop and vary the learning methods with strategies in teaching English vocabulary.

ANALISIS KEBUTUHAN AIR BAKU PADA DAERAH KECAMATAN TARAKAN TENGAH

.Air merupakan salah satu kebutuhan pokok manusia yang diperoleh dari berbagai sumber, tergantung pada kondisi dan daerah setempat. Kondisi sumber daya air pada setiap daerah berbeda- beda. Semua itu tergantung pada keadaan alam dan kegiatan masyarakat yang terdapat di daerah tersebut. Saat ini, sumber daya air masih bertumpu pada aspek kuantitatif dimana air terlalu banyak pada musim hujan dan terlalu sedikit pada musim kemarau Kebutuhan air akan terus mengalami peningkatan dari tahun ke tahun akibat pertumbuhan penduduk yang semakin meningkat sesuai mengikuti perkembangan kota itu sendiri. Perhitungan Kebutuhan Air Mengunakan Metode Aritmatik, Metode Geometrik, dan Metode Eksponensial untuk mencari standar Deviasi terkecil. Penelitian Ini Bertujuan Untuk Menganalisis Kebutuhan Air Baku Pada Daerah Kecamatan Tarakan Tengah. kebutuhan Akan Air Ini Dikategorikan Dalam Kebutuhan Air Domestik dan Non Domestik. Hasil perhitungan kebutuhan air untuk wilayah Tarakan Tengah pada Tahun 2024 sebesar 102,142 ltr/dtk dan terus meningkat hinggah Tahun 2033 sebesar 120,031 ltr/dtk.
