STUDI ANALISIS GENANGAN BANJIR PADA SALURAN DRAINASE JALAN CENDRAWASIH KOTA TARAKAN
The West Tarakan District area is one of the most influential areas and is the center of the city of Tarakan. One of the downtown areas that is very prone to flooding is around Jalan Cendrawasih, West Tarakan District which is the most populous and most populous sub-district and is the center of the economy in Tarakan City. The study was conducted to determine the capacity of the drainage channel which resulted in flood inundation due to not being able to drain the flow of rainwater and to analyze the drainage system. The study was carried out using the calculation of rainfall data obtained from the BMKG of Tarakan City through the ogimet.com website, using manual calculations according to the rational method for calculating rain discharge and the manning formula for calculating flow velocity then the calculation results were inputted in the HEC-RAS 5.0.7 program. The results of the calculation study are based on the condition of the existing channel, the capacity of the existing channel capacity in the Cendrawasih area for the existing channel discharge on the right side channel of Qs = 0.356 m3/s, the left side channel of Qs = 0.373 m3/s. The results of the discharge of the existing channel show that with a return period of 10 years, it can be seen that the capacity of the two existing channels is not able to accommodate the planned flood discharge so that there is a flood in the area.
