2023 · Book ·

The urgency of delivering material during the learning process supported by learning media is to minimize the occurrence of verbalism in students. It is also revealed that technological advances can support learning materials, and many schools or educational institutions are starting to develop learning processes that use e-learning. This research design was Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. It consisted of five stages (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. The research instruments were questionnaires, interviews, material expert validation, media expert validation, linguist validation, media practicality test, and student response questionnaire. It was obtained that the results of the validity level from each of the criteria, namely: material validation was 81% which fell in a feasible category, media validation was 97% which was classified as a very feasible category, language validation was 70% in a feasible enough category, the practicality of English learning materials was 83% which was categorized as feasible, and the student's responses to the materials that had been designed was 86% which was very feasible. Thus, designing English learning material using the class dojo as a flipped classroom was valid and practical for learning development.
