PENGARUH TEKANAN SOSIAL PADA PERUBAHAN PERILAKU TOKOH UTAMA DALAM FILM "BUDI PEKERTI" KARYA WREGAS BHANUTEJA (KAJIAN PSIKOLOGI SASTRA)

2026 · Book ·

This study aimed to identify social pressure on the behavioral changes of the main character in the film "Budi Pekerti" by Wregas Bhanuteja using a literary psychology analysis. This study employed a qualitative descriptive method. The data source for this study was the film "Budi Pekerti," released in 2023. The data in this study consisted of dialogues, monologues, and scene excerpts that illustrate social pressure and behavioral changes in the film based on literary psychology theory. The results of this study revealed two forms of social pressure and three forms of behavioral change: pressure to conform and the resulting behavioral change, and pressure to conform to norms and the resulting behavioral change. Conformity pressure was the most dominant aspect because the main character experienced more pressure from his immediate environment such as family, friends, and other groups than from the institution where he worked.
